Wale's third album, The Gifted, dropped this week, but that doesn't mean the promotion stops. The MMG rapper hit the Late Show with David Letterman to perform "LoveHate Thing" off the new album.
Mr. Folarin kicked things off by telling Barack Obama he would call him back before diving into the soulful Hip-Hop tune. Roc Nation vocalist Sam Dew was on hand to provide his vocals and the duo was backed by a live band while DJ Drama was on the turntables. As in the video, all the performers donned suits to keep it classy. This is "New Black Soul," as Wale puts it, after all.
